Craig Biggio has retired but not without putting up some great all-around numbers in his career. He played in 2,850 games for the Astros in his career and he was 3,060 for 10,876 (.281 avg, .796 OPS) with 1,844 runs scored, 668 doubles, 55 triples, 291 homers, 1,175 RBIs and 414 stolen bases. Biggio rubbed off on his teammates with his hustle on the field and his willingness to play wherever the team needed him. He came up as a catcher before the Astros moved him to CF to save wear and tear on his body. He then switched to second base when the Astros had the need arise. No matter where Biggio played he was a good defender. He will be elected into the Hall of Fame in five years as an Astro and that will be a fun day for the fans and Biggio.
